Uncooked rice is cheap and hard to keep in the pan, try doing that outside... If you can keep the rice in you can keep anything in

For point 2...yeah, it's a nerf to spell attack rolls. But for starters, spell attacks aren't anywhere near as bad as people make them out to be. They're just higher risk, higher reward. Go watch @mathfinder.bsky.social's latest vids for examples of why this is the case.

(And D&D not being super popular will long term hurt discoverability of the hobby, but immediate effect on non-D&D games will likely be positive. I would bet that for a long while (5-10 years) after the buyout non-D&D games would see strict benefit)
