I think we in the Urbanist Community should read or listen to chapter 7 of Dan Wangs Book Breakneck. It talks about the fact that most of great works we benefit from today in NYC essentially stopped after Robert Moses. We need to consider this going forward.

I know its hard to believe. But I think we can do better than an awkward slip lane and that little piece of bike lane thats not connected to anything aboce 26th Street. Whats keeping this from being a 2way bike lane that links to 25th and broadway?

@nyc-dot.bsky.social whats going in with 6th avenue? How does this happen where the parking prtected bike lane has no stipes delineating the parking at all.

Zohran Mamdani’s NYC History Scavenger Hunt was incredible. I did the whole thing with an amazing team of guys I met in line at the start of the scavenger hunt.
