I’m encouraged by these town halls but I also remember very clearly how this happened in 2017 as well. Instead of responding to the complaints, they stopped doing them.

Well think about it this way. When FEMA goes away, insurance skyrockets, and people cannot rebuild, or live on their property after a disaster, that opens up prime real estate, for sale, to big business, at rock bottom prices.
