He's pro-"armed resistance" and he's a leading figure at protests where pro-Hamas material has been distributed. Not exactly a role model, although obviously he has a right due process like anyone else.

A thought: the platforms do have an interest in combating fake, spammy content because too much of it could drive users away. But that interest is counterbalanced by the fact that some subcategories of fake (e.g. conspiracy theories) can go viral, and also that cracking down on disinfo is expensive.
