Once you get in the 10 - 15 rep range you can start doing harder variations to challenge yourself and develop more power and explosiveness.

Agree on the woman's studio, though even then it will take a commitment and discipline to develop the muscle memory and mental conditioning. Even one class a week for a few months is enough for a noticeable difference.

ONE Championship is pretty good, but they do focus on striking. I've been watching it for years and haven't seen anything that made me want to throw a chair at the TV. I posted a free event earlier which is a good intro.
