Response to Trump

say “I’m outraged”

Three narcissists walk into a bar. They’re so self absorbed that they get separated from each other and nothing collectively funny ensues.

The silence from Dems is deafening.

We’re exhausted—looking for leadership and starting to feel desperate. Everything feels like it’s slipping away & electeds aren’t acknowledging it, let alone speaking on it.

@dougjones.bsky.social sounds like someone who’s actually read the room. More of this!

My position has been, and will continue to be, that Elon Musk is far more dangerous than Donald Trump or anyone in his administration. Elon Musk terrifies me

I just finished reading 11.22.63 which was outstanding and Stephen King is brilliant and a little scarily prescient. I just started reading a prayer for Owen Meany. What should I read after that? I like big books, sagas like lonesome Dove and giant.

Can anyone explain to me what the function of the Democratic Party is today and how it is serving that function?

Are they still around? If so, is there any evidence of that?

I wonder what Elon Musk is really up to after directing Trump to cause complete chaos by shutting off federal aid. Because you know this is just all distraction.

Awesome collection of empty words, Greg.

Get back to us when you and the rest of the Democrats get around to pulling your thumbs out of your asses and start doing something.

I’ve seen a lot lately about the screenwriters outdoing themselves again. But honestly, if you were crafting a fictional treatment of the demise of American democracy, you would have tried to make the characters a lot more plausible.
