it's nothing unique or particular about trans people, even though the fact that we can show up unpredictably in your family even if you have no ties to other trans people does make them nervous. it's just that they're mad bc they're tired of what liberalism asks of them

Barack Obama was tepid to weak on same sex marriage. But when Biden effectively nudged him towards support and he became the first POTUS to back it, opinion changed. He had to be dragged to it but Obamas leadership changed the national POV. That’s the fucking point.
