Oh absolutely. My degree was psychology and brain biology. Then an MBA. I guess they were helpful in senior management later but still, a degree really does prove that someone can learn to that level.

I would employ anyone with a non-specific degree.

My granddaughter lives in London. Recently graduated in English. Works as a waitress. Some songwriting on the side.

She's decided to do a Masters but who knows where from there.

I have to say, there weren't any philosophy grads when I was programming. Usually maths or languages. Usually.

I know three philosophy grads., one's a Secondary teacher, one's a lecturer and one's a retired betting shop manager.
