Shubho Bijoya. Celebration of victory of good over evil!
Life pulled a number on me this year. Lost an organ, fought a hard illness, now limping back to new normal. In all this,I continued to work, sing, read. I was cocooned @ home. Thanks to friends, colleagues & well wishers. This too shall pass.

Techy folks of all genders:

In an environment where everyone has hard skills (including you), ALSO having soft skills is a superpower.

Yes, don't let yourself be taken advantage of, but also? If you feel ashamed about those skills the patriarchy has won. Use all your strengths.

Unfortunately this stereotype holds. Miranda House is the Wellesley of India.
I was also part of this effort, a collection of essays on our college. My alma mater, the wind beneath my sails.

Here is to strong women who question things. May we raise them, may we be them

Let us be frank.

The Franks were a Germanic people who conquered what is now France.

They eventually merged with other groups, and ‘Frank’ lost its ethnic sense and became a term for any free inhabitant of Francia.

It now means “to be marked by FREE and forthright expression."

“I believe the United States has an opportunity to lead — not by abandoning fluoride, but by anchoring the discussion in data, equity, and empathy. We must not allow policy to be shaped by those with the loudest voices at the expense of those with the greatest need.”
