I'm trying to do the same....currently learning to make plushies as my 10yo committed to making 20 to sell at their school fundraiser on 11/29. I'm at stage two of a four stage process, and getting better. Next is a penguin with flippers and feet, then stage four is a dragon with wings

Should've gone to bed hours ago. Too late now so I've decided to take more ADHD meds, power through, hit the gym at 6am to get a big pump going and rock up to work in a tight turtleneck, ruining the self-esteem of the obnoxious new HR manager, 15 years my junior who keeps talking about his workouts

I have none, but I plan to get both of my kids to draw their versions of this doodle of an ant meandering about and get both tattooed on my chest with one ant starting its journey from each armpit.

I changed my name at 19 from Stephen to Sven to stop people abbreviating my name to Steve. I thought Sven was cognate with Stephen but no, it's cognate with the English word "swain" as in a Knight's manservant (Stephen comes from the Greek "stephanus" which was the wreath given to Olympic champions)

I'm working my way through a four-stage guide to plushie making that I found online... This is stage one and I'm frankly terrified of the stage four unicorn, but hopefully stages two and three will ease the transition into that level of difficulty.

They promised 20 plushies to sell at a school fundraiser on 29 Nov. based on the misguided notion that they could make rubber band plushies (as they're currently making bracelets on a rubber band loom) so I've had to step up and offer to fulfill the promise. One down, I'll get better with practise
