While I am all for Fair Trade chocolate, I can’t help feeling that there is something very cynical about this packaging spotted in Lidl today…

It was a great privilege to attend the launch of this brilliant book - Educaring from the Heart ❤️ - by DeeMcGillicuddy UCD School of Education. The book advocates an approach to education which places care, empathy and compassion at the core of the educator’s role.

What better first post to share than the news that my fantastic PhD student Jamie McLaughlin has successfully defended his thesis on the right to life @ucdschooloflaw.bsky.social Examiners @aoifenolan.bsky.social & John ODowd congratulated Jamie on his excellent thesis and “outstanding” viva voce 👏👏
