Working on a 2025 project to create a community farm. In an area of abundance, how is that food insecurity exists. Need to move from food relief to food resilience and ‘The Commons’ will pilot this transformation and prepare us for what’s coming also!

We're at a turning point in world history but our leaders are distracted
While Australian politicians argue about power bill relief and non-existent nuclear power stations, pressing issues like the great US retreat, global warming and AI are being ignored.

Our food system is broken and the price gougers are largely responsible. Customers, suppliers and regional communities. We will all suffer increasingly in the future!
Christ - big report from the ACCC out about Coles and Woolies making huge profits .. and so their share price goes up.
As the ACCC supermarket inquiry revealed that our supermarkets have some of the highest profits in the world, supermarket stock prices have rallied today, by 4-6%.

Investors know the ACCC can’t hurt Coles & Woolies.

It’s time for more powers to control price gouging & a prices commission.

Is this the same ACCC that didn’t oppose the acquisition of Saputo milk processing plants by Coles Group. A deal that was Bad for farmers. Bad for consumers and bad for local communities. www.abc.net.au/news/2025-03...
Supermarkets could be forced to publicise size changes in shrinkflation crackdown
The ACCC says greater transparency is needed to curb shrinkflation, which continues to be a major concern for Australian consumers.

Albo, Marles, Dutton. None of these spineless sycophants and future defence industry employees will be around to clean up this Morrison mess! Then again, perhaps no one will, if Austmerica is the 52nd State of the USA! www.crikey.com.au/2025/03/13/a...

Trump’s Tariffs Just Got Delayed—Because CEOs Told Him To

Trump agreed to delay auto tariffs—for one month—after calls from GM, Ford, and Stellantis CEOs. So much for “America First.” He’s making policy on the fly, and Detroit is calling the shots.

What an incredibly incompetent clown. Maybe he should have thought about the (patently obvious) effect of tariffs on the auto industry *before* imposing them?

He’s like a monkey on a keyboard.

Change is in our hands when we choose independent candidates! The current political donations deal is seen by many as a clever trick to maintain the status quo.

By voting independent, you empower those who believe in transparency and fairness over politics as usual.

Still, the Labor Primary Vote in Victoria is polling 22%.

Votes are shifting heavily towards Independents (who haven’t even begun campaigning!)

The mood for change is rising.
