Tattooing is a way of exercising ownership and marking out control over the flesh, a way of expressing agency and personal growth. It's a window to the psyche, telling important stories through art that isn't expressed in words. Tattoos offer an indelible illustration of what is most important, on the skin and in the soul. It's fascinating to see how the body reflects when a modification is done, and I love to photograph my clients with their fresh tattoo. Through the lens, we both want to display the artwork capturing the emotions and the transitional experience that my clients go through owning it and me creating it. _ Thoughts?
