I like things, now on BlueSky!

I want to use this account to both share my thoughts on works I consume, and to learn new things from you (although you will need to pass my vibe check to reply to them)
And I chose BlueSky as the platform for this, I hope we can get along!
Recently finished Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead, a very thrilling series, filled with surprises and emotional moments. The story was structured in a way that keeps you gripped, yet never tired of the next thing they introduced, filled with memorable characters and interesting conflicts.

I Like Movies (2022), a coming-of-age movie, might be relatable to all the cinephiles out there who grew up watching movies as they breathe, I find it hard to relate to while everyone in Lawrence's life put up with him. With that said, I find it quite a heartwarming story.

I watched 12 Angry Men (1957), please excuse my ignorance on the topic of humanity and the lack of grammar, so I can only be very vague about my thoughts, however, I desperately want to write about this movie.
When I watch these jurors in the room, I see humanity itself, I see what makes us human.

I just wanna say I finished Weathering With You, it didn't really impress me with anything other than the visuals, and even a bit irritated. But I will just say that the movie looks great, as expected from a Makoto Shinkai's product. That is all.

This might be due to my own biases, but Blue Eye Samurai was underwhelming. It has great visuals, no doubt, one of the best looking 3D animated shows out there. I have only seen a handful of French animated works (Arcane, The Red Turtle and this show), but I can see they are masters of the craft.

It's hard to describe what I think or feel about Schindler's List (1993), the film is nothing short of amazing, the camera work, the directions, acting, story, soundtrack, all top notch. It highlights the human's compassion and the will to overcome hardships in the most inhumane moment of history.

Finished Blizzard of Souls (2019), it's a good war film, reminisces of classics like All Quiet on the Western Front, where it portrays both the horrors of war and the soldiers who participated in it. However, it focuses more on the Latvians heroes, who fought for their families, their fatherland.

Finished Arcane Season 2. It feels like a mess, filled with various songs from popular bands and artists, used to fill in every kind of montage they could. The chain of events were portrayed poorly and illogically, as if it happened just to be part of one scene in the finale. It wasn't as enjoyable.

Finished rewatching Riot's Arcane Season 1. It was great, phenomenal animation works, great music, and an overall engaging and emotional piece of art.
Each character and their respective stories are all well crafted, and how they unfold had me holding onto my seat. I'll talk a bit more about below.
