ah - I was making a different point, that they aren't skipping touristing here, which was one theme in the thread. I don't disagree with your comment about those who would feel at risk at border entry or on the streets.

Tell that to the Scots who are filling up the Boston area hotels (if I'm to believe Reddit traffic). To your first point, US people should also skip the FIFA games - watch for free in a bar, if one must.
