A delayed update of the double flower bud. Pic taken June 19...
Early bloom of double cone flower with green center and rust colored edges in the shape of goggles. Pink petals extend off the top like punk rocker hair. Petals along sides are tucked back, hidden from view. Petals extending below "goggles" are very short in center where nose may be.

Wondering how seedlings 🌱 will survive from now until they are transplanted outside. 🤔 Guessing I will need to re-pot them. Don't think I can bear to thin them!

There are few places I'd rather be.
Winter, snowy, deciduous forest with dappled sunlight reaching the snow covered ground. Within a clearing in woods a snowy wooden staircase rises into snow covered eastern red-cedar tree. It is quiet with a blue sky above.

Erin, thanks for this post. Golden ragwort is new to me! Its seeds are included in a stratification party I'm hosting. 😊

Lemongrass harvested and bundled for tea 🫖. 🌱
