Is it a traditionally raised turkey? From the 18th century Norfolk farmers walked flocks of turkeys down from Norfolk to London for the Christmas market. Given the walking speed of turkeys and old Norfolk farmers, they'd have to set off in September to walk the 100, or so, miles in time.
