Great article from @spotlightdelaware.bsky.social about our just published climate plan!
Even as the federal government dismantles national climate change policies, Delaware policy makers are pushing forward to incorporate climate impact planning into everything from buildings and transportation to waste, land use and industry.

"0.3 per cent of the world’s land area – yes, just the land – would be needed to meet the current energy demand from solar alone, which is LESS THAN THE CURRENT LAND FOOTPRINT OF FOSSIL FUEL INFRASTRUCTURE."
Why solar power is the only viable power source in the long run

The village of Blatten in Switzerland is partly buried by the collapse of a glacier which melted because our greenhouse gas emissions warmed the climate.

Another reminder that choosing to not invest enough today to reduce emissions means far greater costs for society in the long term.

Scientists who study climate don't automatically attribute all changes to human activity. Rather, we carefully investigate every possible natural factor that could explain the planet's warming.

Could these be the real culprits?

The evidence is in--and the answer is NO.

This is the BYD Sealion 05 EV. Yes, the name may be a little confusing, but this Hyundai Kona Electric sized EV can be had for under $19,000 USD in China.
