Of course we don't want to become the 51st state. I am hoping the energy of this weekend, has rallied us together to ensure we never trust the US again. We need new trading partners who are trustworthy. At this point I trust China more than the US. I will be looking at Deepseek to replace chatgpt.

That is true I'm afraid. Bullying does not replace statesmanship. We may have to capitulate to threats in the short-term while we search for trustworthy trading partners in the background. Canadians will never trust America again.

I am tired of being called "Woke" by Trumpsters because I think that ALL people deserve respect. I will no longer be politically correct about Trump supporters. You Trumpsters should be happy about this. I will no longer hold back and will just call you stupid. No respect deserves no respect.

I am a Canadian, retired and living in southwest France. I have been here 11 years and love it...I am in a small village but 2 hours from Bordeaux, 30 minutes from Bergerac. This is the park and chateau in the village.

Hi Anne, it is one of my new years resolutions now to get off FB. I've had a busy week but will spend a day next week inviting all my fb friends and getting some posts going. Glad we're on the same page :-)
