Thousands of years of facing assault, servitude, rape, forced marriage, Childs marriage, being owned, ordered, dying from childbirth, our work, art, intellect being constantly stolen &/or dismissed….

Exactly! And to them, equality feels like a disadvantage. They feel "oppressed" by simply being treated as an equal and being expected to treat those different from them as equals.

That’s why they’re fighting so hard to preserve their privilege. They are losing their majority and they know it.
