Try love it costs less than hate and gets more positive outcomes per day. Abundance is free and is available in the shareable size. You can keep it all for yourself but therapy can help with hoarding. I generally ignore DMs
If it takes a business until the end of November to make it into the black and they already were underpaying their workers, not providing benefits, and cutting corners, that means that either they're very bad at business and/or the bosses are greedy.

Meal time in a neurodivergent household is all about options. What may have been good last year can lose its status permanently without warning. There are some meals that transcend sustenance and remain secure, safe, and stable no matter how many years they grace the menu. Ours are Dagwood Night, Pizza Night, and Breakfast for dinner.

Those champagne wishes were non-transferable and the caviar dreams' leftovers are stinking up the place. We need to work towards a world where real life and real love are celebrated more than fever dreams.

“The very essence of instinct is that it's followed independently of reason.” - Charles Darwin We work for years to train our instincts beyond the response patterns that were installed at the factory. In 1978 I started driving manual transmission cars. I shift without conscious thought most of the time and prefer to downshift over straight braking. But, that means that when I am driving an automatic car care must be taken to not operate the car by instinct.

I am so grateful that I live in New Mexico. We may not be rich. We may not be fancy. But, on the whole, we care about each other and treasure our cultural variety. That free childcare thing is awesome too. Love each other. We're all we got.

I'm in search of 3rd spaces. Throughout my life, I stumbled into, rather than navigated towards, places where we could gather en masse without the requirements to either pay admission or to be a member of a community. One of the primary draws to a 3rd space was accessibility. If I could walk there, that was the best. If it took a bike ride, it had to have a specific draw.

They're low-balling us. I know that my freedom is much more valuable than a steak, or some bananas. The coffee? Flip's Farm Coffee helps so many and it's not imported! I was pretty sure the beef prices were a pressure campaign waged by Chick-fil-A and KFC. 😜🤭 Happy Sunday!

If everywhere we turn appears to be a wall, it's probably time to sit down and take a few. Maybe it's time to plant some flowers where we are. Bad days only last just as long as the good days but they both go better with music and a story. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhTe...

Innocence is not defined by an age. Merriam-Webster definition of innocence: 'the quality of not having much experience of life and not knowing about the bad things that happen in life'. But once lost, it is gone forever.

The Sermon At The Table
The twins would say an entire homily before a meal. Every single meal would get cold on our plates and the hot coffee would lose its steam before we could say Amen and eat. But this only happened when they were back home. I don't know how their parish in Taiwan fared at breakfast, lunch and dinner. When we gathered together as a family, our blessings for the year were replete.

When my girls were toddlers, telling them that bedtime was 7 but not making them go to bed at 7 taught them that they should test ALL the rules. If we make a rule, we need to be very careful and keep it. We know better than to make commitments we won't, or can't, keep. Right?

How Could They?
When people disappoint us. “He had the look of one who had drunk the cup of life and found a dead beetle at the bottom.”― P.G. Wodehouse Whether they're politicians or salesmen there's not a lot left unsaid about how their proffered expectations rarely survive the next dawn. Yet they charm us time and time again and we let the lessons of the past go to embrace that fuzzy, warm glow of hope springing anew.
