Mark (Possibly mad, painfully British) Townsend
@surprisesparks.bsky.social
A somewhat daft and unsavoury nerd, driven by madness and doubt, hungering for truth and novelty. Painfully British, puzzlingly male and surprisingly over 40.
You can also hook a mouse up to a phone with bluetooth.

You did the trans charity thing so now you get the LGBTQIA+ power-up. Which super-power did you get?

I'm a little embarrassed to confess, but while I am thinking of Ms. Church fully tooled up with an M60, facing down the fash. She's wearing the outfit from her 2005 music video "Call my name".

I only know about it because a friend broke their phone and was desperate to save photos from it. USB-C dock, mouse, keyboard, HDMI out to monitor and a microSD card.

Definitely get yourself one of those grabby sticks. Great for picking things up off the floor. Also you can get rails that clamp to the side of the bed to make getting in and out easier.

This is fantastic if you've broken your phone screen.

My personal choice is Baldrick. I almost went with Blackadder but without Baldrick he's just an arrogant ass.

We've never been a country. We've always just been a vibe.

The whole point of NCOs, and Sergeants in particular, is to get on with getting the current job done while the officers are deciding what needs to be done next. More humorously, to quote author Howard Taylor "A Sergeant in motion outranks a Lieutenant who doesn't know what's going on."

And that, kids, is how I invented the 50-string Jacques-Max.

He alternates between being a clingy snugglebug and a grumpy git. Wouldn't change him for the world.

What? Are you living in the UK? "'Scuse me Sir. 'Av you got a loicense for that sandwich?"

I'm sorry you've had a bad day. Paws crossed for a better one tomorrow.

I'm torn because it's popular hardware so the cost is low and the variable voltages and good currents would allow simplification of hardware design for lighter weight and greater efficiency. But commercial USB-PD connectors are definitely not robust enough for field use. Probably.

This is a fascinating subject in all of its aspects. Increased energy efficiency of equipment, portable power generation and increased battery energy density all play a role. Fibre-optic drones could be used as quickly deployed comms relays over up to 50km ranges. Could the military use USB-C PD?

The problem will be the second run in the opposite direction within an hour.

It's the only reason they have those huge wings, to hide the cans. Just pause under a bridge, honk twice and a swan will glide up to you and exchange a can of lighter fluid for a tenner or a pack of Silk Cut.

Every year we have to warn the new students to stay clear of the cows. They aren't hostile per se, but half a ton of meat and moo can still damage you or your bicycle just through being curious, startled or ignorant of your presence.

There is a special spice to "Transgressive" fantasies. It's almost like the turn on is the violating of social taboos rather than the sex itself.
