My grocery store has chicken breasts for $2.99/lb. That’s 75¢ per serving. Broccoli is $2.19/lb, let’s call that $1 per serving. Bag of rice $3.69 which comes out to 7¢ per serving. So for $1.82 I just made a healthy meal in a HCOL area.

A common strategy of his is to float a trial balloon and then proceed based on the reaction it gets. If the reaction is weak he proceeds. If it’s strong he simply says he never said that or was taken out of context.
