Credit cards can be handy in emergencies, but carrying balances is a slippery slope. At least that’s been my experience.

Working in healthcare, my family rarely spends the holiday on the actual date, this year is such a year. We got ours out of the way and will do the family Christmas the weekend before. We needed the Christmas joy early.

I like the term. Yes it implies a masculine connotation, but it is also more about an attractive put together look, rather than terms like beautiful or gorgeous which can be construed as sexist by some people. I appreciate being called handsome and I use it to describe others in a non sexual way.

We e already decorated and exchanged our personal Christmas gifts, only extended family left. We needed it early this year.

Credit hack, having a maxed out balance or a 0 balance can affect your credit score negatively. Having a low balance, say $100 and paying it off over 3-4 months will increase your credit score. Yes, you lose money in interest, but your score will improve. The system is fucked up.

There seems to be no limit on how far the crazy will go. We’ve moved beyond any rational thinking to blind adulation at this point. I fear that coming back from this will not happen in my remaining lifetime.

We visited a friend of mine in San Francisco. We stayed at a hotel, but we included him in every daily activity we had planned. We had a very good time with him . I think separate sleeping accommodations made the difference.

We have a Rough Collie, I would never get another one, but I love her more than life itself. Collies can be challenging.
