Amp suits are the stupidest mechs I’ve seen in fiction…they’re not fighting mechs. In face they shouldn’t even be on a battlefield.

One trope I hate in movies and tv is the whole “character gets defeated by someone hitting them with the stock of their gun”. Like, at worst you’d have a concussion but you’d still be conscious. Heck, have the protag beat the idiot who thought that was a good idea to death. That I wanna see.
