Final Doom, which I posted a while ago, isn't the only game that supports both - the PlayStation Serial Link Mode as well as the PlayStation Mouse! So too does Command & Conquer Red Alert!

It's weird to me this game ever left the zeitgeist with how unique it's mechanic is - put in any CD and it will generate a monster for you!
How is that not awesome??
Also, as unholy as it feels, the CD doesn't have to be a music CD... 😉

The other benefit of having a Flash Cart for my SNES despite owning a large SNES library is being able to play MSU-1 hacked games on real hardware!

I'm trying some (English Translated) Racing Lagoon on my PS1! It's pretty cool on its own but my favourite feature is that it supports the PocketStation which u can use for trading car parts with IRL friends!

I dug out an old jacket of mine that still has my medals on it from when I fought in the console wars of the 90s - and in it's pocket it still had my old GameWorks arcade card!

In Japan Nintendo released these official SNES flash carts that you would take to kiosks to download games onto, putting a sticker over the numbers on the label.
It was called a "Nintendo Power" cartridge but not related to the magazine from North America.
Mine's actually an FXPak Pro inside though!

I've posted before about using my homemade Zero Tolerance link cable to connect two Sega Genesises for multiplayer, but for some reason I didn't think of linking my Nomad to a Genesis using the cable!

I've spent the last two years developing firmware and software for a WS/WSC/PCv2 flash/development cartridge. Now, it has finally been announced and will be sold by 49bitcat in Germany. Sales start November 24th!

My Master System copy of Altered Beast has this sticker on it - this was a slogan Sega used VERY BRIEFLY before pivoting to "Genesis Does".
I found this scan of a pamphlet that used the same slogan.
It's neat that I have this relic from such a brief period!
