I was fully convinced that ArDarius Stewart and OJ Howard would be Pro Bowlers.

The right answer is unfortunately Clyde Edwards-Helaire

No, but only because there was a distressing lack of construction-themed tough guy one liners.

There's an extended fight sequence in a meth-dealing biker gang throne room though, so that more or less made up for it.

On the flip side, Auburn losing its 6th Iron Bowl in a row would be the longest streak since Bear Bryant ('73-'81) and the first time missing bowl eligibility in consecutive years since '98-'99.

All that to say, we've set up the perfect situation for whoever loses this game to feel Very Very Bad.

With the stakes being:

A) Alabama loses and is knocked out of playoff contention

B) Auburn loses and is not bowl eligible

I don't think America is ready for how weird this game could get.

I am legally obligated to mention the time this happened to Alabama, and they were forced to finish the game playing 3-on-5 (and nearly won!).

Listen, my family used to drive hours to Houston to see the Craig Biggio Astros.*

*We were technically evacuating from hurricanes at the time.

it's kind of been boggling to watch because like, as a saints fan, i was incredibly disappointed to see that combo in atlanta. terry fontenot was pretty good at his job in NO! raheem morris seemed like a good hire at the time!

After banning it in 2022, Louisiana jumped from 42nd in 4th grade reading scores to 16th (2024).

Turns out the best way to teach kids to read is by actually teaching them how to read. Who would've guessed!
November 11, 2025 at 8:27 PM
I would imagine it's seen as a more "efficient" method of progressing students (especially when you have so many students reading below grade level), despite being demonstrably worse than other approaches.

On the bright side, more and more states are banning it and seeing drastic improvement.

The smile brought on by reading about Rodgers being worse than Spencer Rattler was immediately killed by the follow up phrase "worst team in the league."

No surprise there, he was an absolute menace at Tennessee. His first season there he wasn't even a starter until midway through the season and still led the team in sacks.

I haven't been able to find videos/highlights anywhere, but if I come across something I'll let you know!

On their first drive, Minot ran the ball EIGHTEEN times in a row. God I love football.

Somehow neither, which makes it that much crazier.
