This job search is crazy and draining. I find it hard to even be present some days. Spending all day working on a resume and a coding assessment to just receive a rejection email ~3 hours later.

Technology continues to evolve. There is no logical reason for technical interviewing to be so archaic and unrelated to real problems faced in the role.

Being a diabetic, everyone warns you about the highs and what happens if your numbers are high for too long. Would have really appreciated warning about continued low numbers despite eating.

Being laid-off is odd. I’m happy that I get to start my days without rush or anxiety, but at the same time I’m panicking because of responsibilities.

The worst part about living in Seattle is the isolation. Not seeing many people that look like me days on end starts to fuck with my head… feels lonely af.

People are NOT understanding what empty cargo ships from China means.
