Light mode is so much more usable in every application. More legible, less cluttered, and naturally directs the eyes to screen contents. Add a blue light filter. Dim the screen at night. Dark mode is an aesthetic more than a tool

Back to back wins in Overwatch 2 with the boys last night. Played uninterrupted for the first time in months. I'm also 6v6 pilled again I'm convinced its the definitive Overwatch experience

iPadOS multitasking was the most promising announcement, I just hope that non native apps work without developer opt in. I get that some apps need scaling to be taken into account but I'd rather have a jank option than no option at all. Turning iPads into all in ones is a good move imo

Apple rebranding "buy now, pay later" as a premium apple pay feature is very telling of the times we are in

On a slightly more serious note I'm skeptical of the software draining battery life because of the dynamic animations+hiding features for the sake of "screen real estate"
