Speaking of great character writing, Dispatch has that in spades. Like I could play the dispatch part of the game forever if there was the depth of little conversations you could find in Hades II, it's so gosh darn charming. AdHoc outdid themselves here. Can't wait for their next projects.

Gosh, I love Hades 2 and am still playing, but having reached the "true ending" I can give my thoughts. The gameplay loop in this game is sublime, the sense of community is just as strong as Hades, and the character writing is just as sharp. I remain a Supergiant Games stan.

A really surprisingly cozy horror game. It reminded me of a grown up Luigi's Mansion in a way. I know it's a blatant reference to old Resident Evil games, but I think it's a vibes thing. It's comfy, it's spooky, a perfect October game.
