I’m not sure if this is the way to give feedback on a beta but the latest #TapestryApp beta has made some changes to quick links, some because of yours truely. One change is to move them vertically in the gutter which is a big improvement. I am pondering that instead of a number of links just have

I’ve decided to turn off Quicklinks in #TapestryApp as it looks so much less cluttered. I mainly stick to one timeline so I don’t think it will slow me down.

I really love the clear icons in iOS 26, they are super calming and follow the “don’t open me” design I like. On the other hand, those dark icons look freaking amazing 🤩

As I gradually get Tapestry working the way I want, I realised I wanted to hide replies in Mastodon. With some help from ChatGPT, I created a regex-based mute rule: /^@\w+\b.*/ it works a treat.

My current “minimal watch setup” is based on a rethink of “hiding” everything to “showing” what my “brain” tells me to check, reducing urges to interact. Style is H:M II, Ultra Blue. Complications are Battery, Rings, Date, Vitals, Sun Times (Luma), Temp + Hi/Lo (Carrot). Stack is Cal

My understanding of these settings are that I will only see badges and notifications for my unread/new email in my Primary Inbox or VIP’s. Does it actually do that? No. What is it doing? I have no idea.

Strava now only shows me information that I need to be subscribed to see when opening the app. Not even a nagging “look new feature” pop up, it just sits there.

Today was zip lining on the Matagarup Bridge. A 74m climb to the top with a 400m zip line. So much fun.

First half marathon (plus a bit more) in a while. My coach and I a very happy with my progress but a long way to go before we get too excited.

I fixed my coffee machine! Actually I just bought a new one. The solenoid was not the issue and seemed to be logic board which was not economical to replace. Now I am the owner of a Breville Barista Touch Impress. Very happy with the price and how much easier it is to use.
