Pre 9/11, you could bring backpacks to Wolves games.

I’d fill mine with a container of leftovers for dinner and a 6 pack of beer.

Ride my bike to the game from Uptown, and later, the Northside.

Watch KG terrorize opponents. Smoke a heater with Britt on the “patio.” Bliss.
What's wild about OKC's generational, historically badass defense, is they just let teams shoot as many threes as they want. Like, they don't even guard the 3 point line.

Last night, the Utah Jazz hung 44 points on them in the 1st quarter...

...and OKC won by 30+ points.

This is wild.

At 12.5 points per 100 possessions below league average, OKC's defense is currently the best the NBA has seen this century.

Now, where things get crazy: the gap between OKC and the 2nd-best defense of the century is the same as the 2nd-best defense and the 76th-best defense.

How...

Chris Finch's entire press conference was two questions, apparently none of the beat writers are there

Ant read an article critical of him, decided to go nuclear, only to boot two clutch free throws. The separation between him and top caliber talent is still a chasm, my pals.

I do think one of the Wolves advantages against OKC will be Julius' bully ball. Dub was the best defender on Julius last year, and I'm fairly confident they are still sitting him until at least after the holiday break. Also, Julius is playing with a way tighter handle, and less back to the basket.

On Dane’s pod yesterday, he kept mentioning this “what if?” scenario if Ant busts out against OKC next week. Yes, that is possible, as Ant loves big time match-ups, but over the last year his splits against OKC have been really, really, really bad.

Not sure Ant “going off” is how the Wolves win.

NAW continuing to come into his own.

38pts/8-10 from three/4 rebounds/5 assists/3 blocks.

This was a dumb thing to say and I regret it.
My semi-warm take is that Lu Dort will be the odd man out when the salary situation gets real for OKC.

And ultimately I don't think that will be a negative for them.

Joker did this at least half a dozen times to Hartenstein and JayWill against OKC in the semis. He nearly did it to DDV on Saturday. Gonna rip a dude's arm off one of these times. Love the guy, but this move and the jumping on player's backs shit has to stop.
Looks like Jalen Smith may have suffered a shoulder injury. He got his hand in on Jokic and when joker turns and pulls the arm to draw the foul Smith goes down and has to leave the game.

A shame as he's been playing so well and arguably should be the starter.

Dillingham -17 in his garbage time minutes. Might be time to cut bait with the lil’ fella.

PR for players is so corny. Last year Ant was the "point at his dick, flip off the crowd, lead the L in techs, villain G.O.A.T. hunter." This year cameras are everywhere when he gives his jersey to a fan, or plays rock, paper, scissors with kid.

Tryna make him the damn Foo Fighters of the NBA.

From Daignault. The developmental minutes are so huge. Without them there wouldn’t be Ajay Mitchell, Aaron Wiggins, Jaylen Williams etc.

Finch just had 2 wks of blow outs, and the young guys only got a little over garbage time mins.

Tonight, OKC played 10 in the 1st quarter. 2 2-way guys played!
Mark Daigneault speaks to the dynamic of being able to rest Shai for the entire 4th quarter. Coach mentions the point isn't to force it, but it does afford opportunities for the rest of the Thunder roster to develop. #NBASky

The Wolves have yet to beat a team playing better than .500 basketball this season.
November 16, 2025 at 3:50 AM
Wanted to see Wolves tested against a good team after facing scrubs for 2 weeks...and it was a total wipeout of a 4th quarter. Immaturity still there.

Nuggs can be surgical when they want to be. Bad Joker game, while missing two starters. Still choke the Wolves out to close. AG is so damn good.

My only nitpick with Ajay Mitchell is he’s got a little “main character energy” in him. When you’re on the court with SGA (and 3rd stringers) and he’s 13-19 from the field, don’t get all goofy with it. It’s not your rock. Give it to the damn MVP.

Finchy is really cool with the stat padding for his starters this season. He used to hate that shit.

Zach Lavine is, and has always been, dumber than warm bathwater.

If the Wolves aren't going to go get Keon, OKC should do the funniest thing...

Brioche buns are the worst, stale, crumbly garbage and restaurants need to stop using them immediately.

3-6 grams of sugar per bun? Just make a goddamn bun out of gummy bears, you wimps. Get that trash outta here. Put them in the hapless void along with Dutch Crunch, never to be heard from again!

Nobody on planet earth pats themselves on the back more, while being hilariously, and woefully wrong, than that Locked On Wolves guy.

Maybe every single national podcaster in bed with gambling will stop suggesting Luka is the inevitable MVP, after the stomping by OKC and Joker's huge night.

Probably not.

Storm season has been begun in earnest here on the Sonoma Coast. Typhoon-like winds and sheets of rain all through the night. No power this morning. The longest I've gone without power here was 16 days, so nothing rattles me anymore. ZEN STATE ACTIVATED.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander just sat out his 7th fourth quarter this season. That's over 50% of the Thunder's games. He also leads the NBA in clutch points by 21.
