This would seem like a logistical nightmare to coordinate, especially with the number of government employees that are no longer available to do this work, but we can't forget that cruelty and ineptitude go hand in hand.

Context: Cuomo was the governor of the state and in charge of the Division of Housing and Community Renewal. He should know the difference between rent control and rent stabilization. He was governor when income-based deregulation was repealed by the legislature under a bill HE signed into law.

As I was waiting for an elevator down to a subway station, a group of teens walked by shouting that they wanted my wheelchair, and calling me Timmy (like South Park). My feelings remained a jumble of annoyed, overheated, almost amused, and mostly… tired. I can only hope they grow out of it. 🤷🏻

A possibly overlooked FYI for iPhone/iOS users:

In the most recent update (iOS 17), when you add someone to your contacts, there are finally fields to add someone's pronouns, as applicable.

(On computers, this is also the case in the latest release of the macOS, Sonoma AKA 14.)
