This is what makes him different. He's literally built different.

Clark sees a bunch of living things (people, animals, the monster) who need help, and he wants to help all of them.

When he fails (they kill the monster), it hurts him.

Guy Gardner was the perfect bastard you love to hate. He came through in the end, which really helped.

Hawkgirl had less memorable stuff to do (except the one thing, iykyk) but she was pretty cool nonetheless.

Oh gods. I wish we were in that timeline. But Nathan Fillion is pretty great.

They also did Krypto, Mr. Terrific, and Guy Gardner PERFECT imo. Need more of them #GunnProliferation
