I joined @sup-nikkifbas.bsky.social yesterday to provide information on Trump’s cruel CHOICE to withhold available funding for SNAP and let 44,000 households in CA-12 go hungry.

Despite this cruelty, and ongoing court cases compelling USDA to fund SNAP, in Alameda County we take care of our own.

On Tuesday, Alameda Co Board will vote on $10M more for #foodsecurity. This will help provide more resources to the Food Bank and partners to meet the urgent need for food, especially as federal shutdown & HR1 threaten CalFresh benefits.
