I’m curious about your affection for our health insurance system. As someone advises employers and has been in the committee meetings where appeals are heard, I don’t get it. I see how systems work for employees in Europe and Australia, and I wish that for us. God help us if the ACA is repealed.

We’ll just disagree on this. I have concerns about how U.S. healthcare serves working class Americans, particularly if they are in a high deductible health plan, which often (unintentionally) incentivizes delaying or avoiding needed care.

I think education, healthcare, law enforcement, and prisons should be done for societal good rather than for profit, which creates distorted incentives in these areas.
