We are making it easier for Canadian drivers to charge their EVs by building a national charging network.

No matter where you are in Canada, charging your car should be as simple as filling your gas tank.

Another miserable year for nuclear power as renewables surge
Despite the hype from the nuclear industry and its boosters, the latest status report shows that its renaissance remains a mirage, and reactor numbers are falling.

Wish we could do this in America.

If we also banned gas stations from posting prices on giant signs visible to speeding drivers on the street, then maybe our politics wouldn't revolve around lowering gas prices?
“Amsterdam is set to ban climate-damaging advertising [fossil fuel and meat adverts] in public spaces, following a trend spreading across Dutch cities.

France has also enacted legislation outlawing adverts from non-renewable energy companies, and one Italian city has plans to do the same.”
The European city banning all fossil fuel and meat adverts in public
Amsterdam initially proposed the move in 2020, becoming the first city in the world to do so.

Industrial heat is one of the hardest parts of the energy transition.

This sand battery is now delivering fossil-free heat for industry, storing renewable electricity as high-temperature heat and releasing it when needed. Simple idea, big impact.

This is incredibly sad news, @climategenorg.bsky.social 😰

My own small outreach budget ran dry six months ago, and I’ve had to radically rethink how I keep doing this work myself.

While many issues factor into funding, there’s no question it’s a hard, hard moment for climate action in the U.S. 💔
We know this news may bring disappointment, sadness, or questions. Climate Generation has always been about collective action and shared responsibility. That spirit continues now, even as this chapter comes to a close.
