What's your favorite hummer? Need not be a north american species

Hummingbirds actually get eaten BY mantises sometimes, I cannot decide if that is better or worse than picking a bird that eats mantises...

"Green" is occasionally a bit of a stretch here haha. Since you mentioned parrots I'm assuming you were thinking green-green and not the sort of olive tan that is often called green on birds

Parrots are weirdly hard to draw lol. I was debating if it should be related to mantises? There's a Chinese saying about orioles hunting mantises, or my old camp nickname was shrike and they probably do eat mantises sometimes...

Slightly complicated by the fact that I make jewelry, rather than frameable art! I used to have a shelf in the gift shop of a local gallery (I don't live there anymore) but even then I rarely sold much of anything...
