Crazy that 2024 is almost over!
I am happy with the growth I've had as an artist & even if I sometimes cringe at my older work, I know those pieces were necessary for me to have made in order to grow.

For the 1st 5 gens I always chose the water starter (piplup & oshawott have my heart always) but the more recent fire starters have really appealed to me.

My main focus with this study was to play around with lighting, background & atmosphere. In hindsight, there are things I would have done differently, but I am still happy with how it turned out

Platinum is peak! I first played pearl and eventually was gifted platinum when I was like 8 (pictured below is my DS cartridge)
Out of that generation Soul Silver is my favorite tho - my mom threw out a bag that held some of my pokemon games years back and it was one of the casualties 💀
