Literally every single piece of advice I've seen for breaking through writer's block. Word vomit, morning pages, forcing yourself, etc.

Somebody recommended The Inheritance Cycle to me. Not sure if I should bother.
For one, there's apparently a lot of inspiration taken from Lord of the Rings and I never got into that series. Secondly, I keep hearing it's just *okay*.
