Thanks! But I don't think it's the link; I made it to the website both on my phone & computer. Unfortunately I think there's something wrong with his website (& their Instagram). Can you visit the site, click a strain, & see a "buy" or "add to cart" button? Because I cannot.

Also the link it provides me in the description "for more info or to send a DM" leads to an Instagram page where Instagram is saying "profile isn't available".

So I went to the website to maybe buy a strain or two & I noticed that there doesn't seem to be a way to buy any seeds(?). It looks like there is a cart but no way to add things to the cart at this time.

Nice 👍 I use a 60ml syringe with a 14 gauge blunt tip needle. They come ready to connect to syringes with the Luer Lock attachment & you can get them extra long if needed (but I found that tipping the bottle with a medium length needle works better for me)

We decrease the nute strength to 1/5, adjust for pH, & top off with that for the last 1-2 weeks. Our nute solution is a little weaker anyway which has the added bonus of preventing salt accumulation to begin with, but for the finish it helps to ensure that there is a full spectrum of nutes available

Heres a link to the micro mix used in this calculation. This website "custom hydro nutrients" offers a nice selection & has good deals on bulk purchases, but also makes smaller packages available of what could previously only be purchased in large quantities customhydronutrients.com/Chelated-Mic...

As you can see, you don't need to invest in a RO machine or be tethered to a single brand or product. You also have more fine-tuning control over aspects of your nutrient regiment, while also having the ability to adapt to rising nutrient costs, &/or reduced/restricted chemical availability 🤙 (/10)

The resulting ppm of this formula, in relation to the targets, is in the column on the right. It's pretty close! (*some elements I have omitted for this equation like silicon. It's already accounted for elsewhere.) (9/10)

The cost is actually lower, as the app is rounding the cost per chemical to the nearest $0.10 (the micros come to about $0.07, for example). The cost is further reduced by using a recirculating system; we top up ours once a week, & do a full drain & refill at least every 3-4 weeks. (8/10)

Once we know our water quality, have our targets dialed in, & decided on our source material, we get these results. In order to use this recipe we would need to weigh several grams of each chemical for every reservoir. However, notice the cost at approx $0.70 for 15 gal (the size of our res) (7/10)

In our case, all we need to add is Calcium Nitrate, Magnesium Nitrate, Potassium Nitrate, Phosphoric Acid, Magnesium Sulfate, & Chelated Micronutes ~ that last one is easily formulated &/or purchased separately, as chelation is too complex of a topic to get into on this thread. (6/10)

As you can see from the lab analysis, there are already several nutrients available in the water already. To formulate a solution, I use the app HydroBuddy to help with the calculations. Below is a pic with my ppm targets entered into the column on the left. My water parameters are entered elsewhere

The KDF fliter removes or significantly reduces heavy metals & some chemicals such as lead, iron, cadmium, mercury, copper, chromium, hydrogen sulfide, nickel, arsenic, & aluminum (also a little Ca & Mg). The catalytic carbon helps in the removal or reduction of VOCs. (4/10)

Here is a lab anaylsis of our water after being filtered through a 5 micron sediment filter, a KDF-55 filter (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion), & a catalytic carbon filter. Notably, the hardness tests at 361 ppm, & the Ca levels are pretty high (but not too high). (3/10)
