Killer A5 Haze (KA5H) clones flowering for 42 days. To re: This is a rare "sweet cinnamon & sandalwood" phenotype of Ace Seeds "Killer A5 Haze", which is Nevilles' legendary A5 Haze (Haze A x NL#5) crossed with an African "Malawi Killer" male.
Stress test results: 0 horns, 0 hermies.

While doing a phenohunt for African Orange, I'm also going to have some Slurricane #7 mothers going for our patients; I may as well throw a clone or two in during the breeding process 🤙 Using the 'female x male' pedigree naming system she would be 'Slurricane #7 (S1) x African Orange (F3)'

Killer A5 Haze flowering for 39 days (target is around 77+ days). CO2 switched on 🔥 For a mostly sativa of Haze & African origin she is doing very well for being kept so short. Fewer than 5% of the plants exhibited her cinnamon & sandalwood flavor profile & this one was the "loudest" 🤙 #cannabis

Afghan Kush flowering for 26 days. She's probably my most compact plant, w/ very little lateral branching as opposed to xmas tree shape; perfect for a 'sea of green' arrangement. If following a more traditional botanical nomenclature she might be called Afghan Dwarf or Afghan Dwarven Spear #cannabis

'Tropical Thunder' flowering for 63 days ~ pre & post harvest. With the new drying cellar I often chop the plant into 2-3 sections & hang whole; if I have time I'll trim the fan leaves, otherwise I just wait to do a dry buck & trim. Either way the cellar helps dry it slowly & at low temps. #cannabis

"Tropical Thunder" (Destroyer x Panama) ~ pheno B ~ flowering 62 days. Amber heads on trichomes indicate post-peak THC production, i.e. harvest time. One of the reasons I chose the Panama is she's a very fast flowering sativa. This pheno will come down tonight just shy of 9 weeks (63 days) #cannabis

Afghan Kush flowering for 22 days. While it may seem 'vanilla' to some, Afghan Kush is truly a pleasure to grow. Extremely vigorous, genetically stable, fast growing, easy to trim, etc.. It's very beginner friendly, both in the garden & as a medicine. A quintessentially 'classic' strain. #cannabis

~African Orange at 8 days.

~Trainwreck, Trainwreck x NL#5, Kombucha Cream, Chocolate Thai OG at 21 days.

"Tropical Thunder" flowering for 60 days. The crystals are filling up, going from clear to cloudy, giving the bud a "frosty" appearance. This is a general indicator of ripeness at a distance. This pheno appears to be an early ripening variety 💎 so the new target is 63+ days (from 70 +/-) #cannabis

Killer A5 Haze flowering for 33 days. Good News everyone! I have 2 clones left in veg that I was going to use for a different project, but I've decided that this 'cinnamon & sandalwood' pheno is too good to keep to myself so I'll be making a limited supply of feminized S1 seeds instead 🤙 #cannabis

Tropical Thunder flowering 57 days. Heavy fade, likely brought on by the cooler temps allowed in the room during the winter months. Robust crystal structure, though several clear heads remain indicating more time needed. Target is 70 days (+/-); waiting for frosty heads + a few amber ones #cannabis

Along with the phenohunts, I'll also be using the new tent for a few landrace preservation projects 🧬🌞 Shown here are some very special varieties from the Valley of Flowers National Park & Waichin Valley near Malana village. The goal is to stabilize & breed out any hermies or auto traits 🤙 #cannabis

Afghan Kush flowering for 16 days. This variety came from World of Seeds a long time ago, which according to them "grows wild in the valleys of the Armu Darya river" (N of Mazar-i-Sharif). Since then I've bred it with their Special & Early Harvest versions ~ (Ak.EH x AK) x (Ak.S x AK) #cannabis

These are the last clones from the Killer A5 Haze phenohunt. A little small but I started them early after a successful cross to make room for the next run. Lots of variation in the F1s but the mother of these clones stood out for her intense aroma of sweet cinnamon & sandalwood incense🔥 #cannabis

Shout out to Equilibrium Genetics for the hook up! So I'm starting the African Orange (F3) seeds today for the phenohunt & when I opened the package I noticed there seemed to be way more seeds than expected. For context these seeds cost $250 USD for 12. They sent me 38 instead + a freebie🤙 #cannabis

For close up shots I use a cheap clip-on loupe for mobile phone cameras. Not the best but it works for getting those nice close-up crystal pics 🤩 #cannabis

"Tropical Thunder" (Destroyer x Panama) flowering for 52 days. No sign of any more nanners but I'll be doing deep scans everyday regardless. Both the Destroyer & the Panama are stable IBLs, but the Meao Thai in the Destroyer was known to be highly unstable as it took 7 generations (F7) to "tame" it.

Good Morning! 🌞 & Happy New Year's Eve! 🎉 We're looking forward to the new year with an exciting lineup of strains to grow & phenohunt in 2026! This one is 'Slurricane #7" (Do-Si-Do x Purple Punch, phenotype #7) from In-House Genetics 💎🔥 Enjoy the eye candy & stay safe out there tonight! 🤙 #cannabis

Some updates on the geyserfarm system. The holidays have caused some delay but I expect to have it finished within a few days. I'll put together some instructions for building your own, a list of materials, some design notes, & a pros & cons list after some more testing & tweaking 🤙

Getting started with the next "fillers & freebies" harvest while I wait until the African Orange mother's are ready. From left to right:

~Trainwreck x NL#5 by Authentic Genetics
~ Kombucha Cream by Atlas seeds
~ Chocolate Thai OG by World of Seeds

During a routine inspection I found a nanner on phenotype A. Out of 4 type A clones, this was the only sac I could find. None were found on the 5 type B clones. Clearly stress induced and a-typical; but it's best to deal with this early in the breeding process so phenotype B will parent the F2 line.

"Tropical Thunder" (Destroyer x Panama) flowering for 45 days. This is phenotype B, which in contrast with type A, is a little more compact with more lateral branching & tighter internode spacing. Both have similar aromatic profiles of tropical fruit; with lime, melon & apple notes 🤙 #cannabis

Good morning! Here's pics of our "Tropical Thunder" (i.e. Destroyer x Panama) flowering for 40 days. With about 30 days left to go, her buds often resemble frosted pinecones near the end. #cannabis

Starting seeds before the mothers are ready. We store seeds under refrigeration to help preserve them but also to improve germination via "cold stratification". I'll then use light scarification with an emery cloth, before soaking overnight in dilute H2O2 as prep for the paper towel method #cannabis

Here's some of our Afghan Kush (IBL). These old Kush indicas may have a little CBD in them as they are excellent for those who get anxiety easily from smoking. Our clients that absolutely love these are all vets with PTSD. The evidence is anecdotal but it's something to keep in mind! #cannabis
