The person to make such a resource- I'm just one (hobbyist, white) guy who has managed to Jerry rig some stuff together for himself and the autistic people he cooks for. It's just... something that would have helped me a lot, I think.

I guess what I'm saying here is.... I wish there was a sort of cooking resource that approached cooking compassionately, not trying to moralize the value of each food, but just giving tips or ideas on how to try new stuff comfortably and safely. I don't think I'm necessarily

"Hiding vegetables in brownies for your picky kid", as though no adult has these problems. Or "how to eat more vegetables to lose weight!", as though someone might never be recovering from an eating disorder but still trying to add healthy things to their diet.
