I said I would get caught up by the start of may, and then I gave myself a second-degree burn whilst making soup ;____; we soldier on, though, and it's all good now! Since I'm late on april's set, anyone who joins this month can pick between the foxes and balloon dogs ^^!

Woke up this morning to a call saying my car needs $2000 of repairs to pass state inspection so hm. I will need to start making money again soon huh! Expect posts about that later but for now, here's my bountiful pho broth from yesterday.

An update on why I've been scarce lately: shortly before Thanksgiving, my dearly beloved and very stupid indoor cat managed to pop our shitty door open and escape. While we DID successfully recapture him, it took over a week of sleepless nights & we are still monitoring him -

made challah bread for the first time yesterday. i am Not good at the braiding yet so they look a lil wonky but they still tasted sooo good. By which i mean both loaves have already been devoured.
