Anyway, that was the show!! It was amazing - all the performers were so talented and traveled from around the country to perform, so it was honestly such a delight to see! Definitely worth a PAX ticket and the pain of having worn a high-heeled cosplay all day 🥴🩷

Then, the best part - she knelt down to pray and we all screamed because we knew what was coming… and she mimed getting stabbed, then stood up & did “Backstabber” by Kesha 😂 Except the music cut in OWA’s choral “Sephiroth” instead of every “you’re” so it said “Sephiroth is such a backstabber” 😂😂😂

Then it was a king as Cloud up next - he started with the music from his dance battle with Andrea in Remake! And then it morphed into another song that I confess I was unfamiliar with 😅 but it clearly involved a lot of shaking, and eventually a reveal of tight leather pants under the SOLDIER gear.

Kind of hard to tell but this queen did “Work Bitch” by Britney Spears, but every “Work Bitch” was replaced by a “Kweh!”

They kicked things off with some FF-themed games, starting with “chocobo races” (on feather decorated broomsticks).
3 of the 5 performers nailed the FF theme, and the other two sort of admitted they didn’t have a great handle on it XD but their performances were still stellar!

It’s time!!! I was informed this will be less Final Fantasy-themed than I was originally led to believe, but I also saw a queen walk by dressed as a chocobo, so I’m holding out hope!
