I mean, it probably couldn't do worse than some of the doctors I've seen, but that's a stupidly low bar that I don't want anywhere near me.

My health is complex, nuanced, and changes. There are better ways to fix things than a machine that spits out all the bullshit I've been told over the years.

Exactly! If your intention is for the animal to have a permanent home, then you need to match it with the people who seem to be the best fit! Like, actually a best fit, not a "well, we'll try and hope it works". It can be HARD, and take a while!

Yeah, many years ago I volunteered at a place that changed the story based on who was looking at an animal and would straight up lie to adopters (we had a confirmed cat killer adoped out THREE TIMES to families with cats - which he killed). Adoption was political with them too.
