Yesterday I was answering a question on ethnicity and was offered the choice between White English and White British. Somehow White English seems odd (even allowing for Welsh ancestry). Do some people object to being British?

3.5 hours in a waiting room today cos hospital didn’t have meds in time. Finally home but v tired. I wish someone would tell politicians that good admin isn’t a luxury!

Why do the blood test people always seem to get the wrong form? I’ve just had bloods taken for cross-matching when I only needed a simple blood count ahead of treatment on Thursday ☹️

Still seeing double but managed a trip out for a ‘walk’ (mobility scooter) and pub lunch. The double vision allowed a few peas to escape.

On International Women’s Day remembering giving a paper at a Biochemical Society conference. Afterwards I was complimented on a nice piece of work. My PhD supervisor’s response was ‘Yes, and it was done by a woman’ ☹️
