Emotion Wave Exercise (5–10 min): Recall a mildly uncomfortable or neutral situation (SUDS 3–4). Allow the emotion to rise and fall naturally.

Notice the Peak: Observe how the emotion develops. Just let it be. Notice how it eventually subsides or changes.

We all have different “emotional skin.” Some feel emotions intensely and take longer to return to baseline. This can be dealt with #TIPP skills, e.g. by dunking your face in a bowl of ice water, and mindfulness acceptance—learning to surf the emotion instead of drowning. #MentalHealth #TherapySky
