And finally Beast Gohan. Applying what I learned about line thickness and again using the Figuarts as reference.
Here I like the line art better than the colored version (coloring is hard) Probably my best full body drawing so far.

And then I learned about varying line thickness (as I am fully in the "art tutorial YouTube algorithm" now)
And wow😲! That makes a difference. This is the happiest I've ever been with a drawing. I was even happy with my coloring (first pic is my original colors, second edited in Photoshop)

Art dump! The last couple of weeks I've been at it again with drawing DBZ
I like how Trunks hair came out. With Goku I tried to emulate the early Z art style with its more rounded look. This piece made me start focusing on anatomy more. The chest looks great but I wasn't happy with the arms

Still in disbelief on the passing of chess GM Daniel Naroditsky. I watched so many of his videos since the covid years, he taught me the game. Heartbreaking to see a bright light like him go so young.

A great first issue of Kirkman's Transformers run. I was kind of getting tired of the dark gritty and depressing vibe of the comic but this feels like a nice fresh start (in terms of style).
I love the art by Dan Mora, just look at those Optimus close-ups!🤤
