Started reading Absolute Batman. It's a good thing they censor the curse words otherwise this book wouldn't have been appropriate for kids!

And that's a wrap on Stranger Things. A bumpy last season, and I have some issues with how the main conflict was resolved. But then the last half hour happened and I loved it. The show returned to its strengths, the characters, what the show is ultimately about.

And that's a wrap on Stranger Things. A bumpy last season, and I have some issues with how the main conflict was resolved. But then the last half hour happened and I loved it. The show returned to its strengths, the characters, what the show is ultimately about.

But yeah, agreed with @toygrind.bsky.social that G2 Laser Optimus is one of the greatest Transformers figure of all time
I might be a bit biased since the G2 Primes are pure nostalgia for me, but come on. Every modern attempt at remaking it fell short

Aside from my "art" posts, I am also happy with my "normal toy photography" this year. I like the look I settled on. Early in the year I decided to only shoot on a white bg, and then change the background color in post. This keeps the figure nice and bright. Excited to keep tweaking this more

Finished my rewatch of Stranger Things right in time for the drop of the final episodes. And man I am thoroughly hyped. It's just such a great show, and the Duffer Brothers have consistently delivered exhilarating and epic finales, so I expect nothing else for the big one. Can't wait!

The new SH Figuarts Goku. I was skeptical at first but he is a joy in hand. The proportions are spot on and he poses incredibly natural. Bring on all the colors of the rainbow!
